Tough times ahead for the Ducks

The Phoenix Coyotes, the Los Angeles Kigns and the Dallas Stars will stand for the Ducks opposition the next three games. All three teams are within the Ducks division. While we can say that it’s a terrific chance to catch up with those teams in the standings, there’s obviously a risk that the Ducks will slip away even further down the standings as well.

Right winger Joffrey Lupul didn’t participate in yesterday’s practice and is still questionable for tonight’s game against Phoenix.

Defenseman Nick Boynton also missed practice with flu-like syndromes. However, the veteran is expected to play.

Goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere has been great over the last three games and is likely to get the start from Carlyle tonight again. He hasn’t looked this good in maybe a couple of years.

”He wasn’t the same Jiggy. He didn’t seem to have that same fire, that same passion. He seems to be able to have developed that back. He feels that much better about himself,” coach Randy Carlyle said.

I’ll be back later with tonight’s line ups and streams for the game against the Coyotes.

The NHL Arena‘s “Ducks Blog Off”

Last night I received an email from The NHL Arena. Apparently, I’m in a blog-off tournament, starting against other Ducks blogs. Make sure to vote for me, you would have to register but no account activation is required through email. So please vote, it’s a great opportunity to make this blog grow even faster.
VOTE HERE.

Thanks in advance!

And again, I’ll be back later with more on tonight’s game.
