Scott Niedermayer not going anywhere?

Well it appears so according to the Ducks GM Bob Murray. I've been writing about all this on both SvenskaFans.com and HockeyIndependent. I don't feel like going through the whole story once more. So I'll just link to the post I wrote on HI here. A small rumour about Giguere is in there too, although it's among the worst rumours I've seen lately.

I never wrote any evaluation of the Ducks prospects after the WJHC here either. But you can find my take from the prospects in the tournament here.

The Ducks will play the Boston Bruins tonight. I'll be back with some pregame info and streams as usual.

Resent success a result of player meetings?

I know I haven’t been very active lately other than doing the game day posts. Christmas break is over so I’ve been a little busy moving my stuff back to Kalix.

Anyways, the Ducks are going strong right now. I think the recent injuries on Teemu Selanne and Ryan Getzlaf actually helped a little. Guys like Dan Sexton, Matt Beleskey and Petteri Nokelainen have stepped up providing some offense and now that Selanne and Getzlaf are back the team has gotten a huge confidence boost.
