- Right winger Joffrey Lupul is out indefenitely as he is still recovering from back surgery.

- The new defensemen Lubomir Visnovsky and Aaron Ward will arrive in Anaheim later tonight, but not in time for the game. The Ducks will dress only five defensemen. Meanwhile, they will dress 13 forwards.

- Same thing with the new goaltenders. Joey MacDonald and Curtis McElhinney has yet to arrive in Anaheim since getting traded. Timo Pielmeier has been recalled from Bakersfield and will backup Jonas Hiller tonight.

- Right winger George Parros is likely to serve as healthy scratches.

- Defenseman Kyle Cumiskey is out with a concussion.
